History

The Quadra 605, marketed in October 1993, represented the most economical model in the Quadra line. It was equipped with a 68LC040 processor clocked at 25 MHz and featured a compact case with a new design. The selling price in the United States was set at $900. The same model was also marketed under the denominations LC 475 and Performas 475 and 476, offered in bundles with various combinations of fax/modem, monitor, and hard disk drive units.
