History

The original StyleWriter was launched in 1991. It replaced the ImageWriter dot matrix printers. The new inkjet technology was very promising thanks to good quality and low cost. The StyleWriter series was aimed at consumer users. While the StyleWriter was capable of printing one page per minute, the StyleWriter II doubled that performance. With the launch of the Color StyleWriter series, the StyleWriter printers were discontinued.
