History

On June 28, 2004, Apple launched a completely renewed line of Cinema displays. The new models were now supplied in an aluminum enclosure with sizes ranging from 20, 23 to 30 inches. All displays were now connected via DVI, making the screens compatible with Windows PCs. The new flagship at $3,299 USD, the 30-inch Apple Cinema HD Display, required the new NVIDIA GeForce 6800 Ultra DDL graphics card to display the maximum resolution.
