History

Released in April 2008, the iMac (Early 2008) was a performance update of the iMac (Mid 2007). It was marketed in three configurations: 20"/2.4 GHz/1 GB RAM/250 GB HD/128 MB VRAM/SuperDrive/$1199 USD, 20"/2.66 GHz/2 GB RAM/320 GB HD/256 MB VRAM/SuperDrive/$1499 USD and 24"/2.8 GHz/2 GB RAM/320 GB HD/256 MB VRAM/SuperDrive/$1799 USD. A high-end BTO model was also available, equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo Extreme processor at 3.06 GHz and a 500 GB hard drive, at the price of $2199 USD.
