Introduced in July 2010, the iMac (Mid 2010) models represented essentially a performance increase compared to the previous iMac (Late 2009) line. The iMac (Mid 2010) was available in four configurations: 21.5"/3.06 GHz i3/4 GB RAM/500 GB HD/256 MB VRAM/$1199 USA, 21.5"/3.2 GHz i3/4 GB RAM/1 TB HD/512 MB VRAM/$1499 USA, 27"/3.2 GHz i3/4 GB RAM/1 TB HD/512 MB VRAM/$1699 USA, 27"/2.8 GHz i5/4 GB RAM/1 TB HD/1 GB VRAM/$1999 USA. Custom options at the time of order included up to 16 GB of RAM, Core i5 processors at 3.6 GHz or quad-core Core i7 at 2.93 GHz, a 2 TB hard drive and a 256 GB SSD.
